Owner of Recentered Pieces LLC and Lori Betts Ltd, Lori has recently returned to her hometown after many years living in cities throughout Georgia.Recentered Pieces – The customized sculptures are made from a variety of recycled and salvaged materials including glass, aluminum, wood and steel and serve as unique and stunning centerpieces inspired by traditional Japanese floral design. Every piece has an interesting back story: where the original parts came from, what event it was created for and how many times it has been transformed.Lori Betts Ltd. – A collection of original watercolor botanical designs for home décor and gifts, provides her discerning customers the opportunity to customize different sized towels and napkins from the world’s finest fabrics. Partnering with Lebanon-based mill- Dwell America, Lori has designed an assortment of entirely US-made linens in addition to offering genuine Irish Linen and cotton damask from the Czech Republic.As Creative Director and founder of the Norcross (GA) Arts Center, Lori spearheaded high school student workshops on entrepreneurship and creative careers- even having competitions and installing artwork created by students in Norcross, GA and Washington DC. She likes to work with and mentor young artists, having recently hired a fellow McCaskey graduate and hopes to hire others as she grows this new company.
